Q:  How do I subscribe?
A:  Go to our subscription area, and you can order online using your MasterCard, Visa, American Express or Discover card.  Or, you can send your subscription request and payment to:

Q:  How much does a subscription cost?
A:  That depends on where you live and how you would like your subscription mailed.  The chart below details pricing and mailing options.

U.S. Subscription - Bulk Mailed $ 45.00 US
U.S. Subscription - First Class $ 51.20 US
Canada & Mexico $ 52.00 US
All Others $ 54.00 US

All prices are in US Funds and
include mailing costs.

Q:  How many issues are in a year subscription?
A:  You will receive five issues a year packed with information about enamel, enameling, and enamelists that you will find no place else.

Q:  Who subscribes to Glass on Metal?
A:   Schools, libraries, universities, individual artists, commercial enameling companies, collectors, museums, and anyone interested in the art of glass on metal.

Q:  Can I submit articles to Glass on Metal?
A:  Of course!  We welcome any submission concerning enameling and related fields.  We cannot promise your submission will be published, so you may want to first contact us regarding your contribution.

Q:  If I have something to submit, in what format should I send the article?
A:  We prefer you submit some type of digital document (e-mail, PDF, text file, digital images*, etc.) or typed or clearly written articles with slides or transparencies, however, we are flexible and will work with you.  *Please contact us in regards to digital image submissions prior to sending your files. 

Q:  Do you pay writers for submissions?
A:  Alas, no.  We are a small magazine, and cannot afford to pay authors for submissions.  For your article, you will get exposure and accolades from your peers in the enameling community.

Q:  Why don't you post current articles on your site?
A:  If we did that, we would have to charge a fee for our web site.  By only posting older articles on our site, we can keep the web site free for everyone.  We will post past articles of our choosing, or particular articles if there is a demand.

Q:  My question isn't listed here!  Who do I contact if I have any other questions?
A:  You are free to contact us with any further questions or comments to info@glass-on-metal.com.  This includes questions about submitting articles, subscription questions, and anything else you would like to ask or comment upon.  Due to the large volume of e-mail we receive daily, please allow for a few days to receive a response.
